If you are trying to open a RAW file from your Canon 5D camera in Adobe Photoshop CS2, you'll need to have the correct file in Photoshop before it works. If it doesn't work, you'll get a message (in Photoshop CS2) saying.... Unable to open file format... which means it can't read your .CR2 file that your Canon 5D created.

So, You need to download a file from Adobe > CLICK HERE <

Click on the Adobe DNG Convertor and Camera Raw 3.6 Update

After you download the 6MB file, you will need to drag and drop the new file into:

My Computer > C: > Program Files > Adobe > Adobe Photoshop CS2 > Plug-Ins > File Formats

Put the file (called 8BI) into the File Formats folder.

Now.... Re-start (or start) Photoshop CS2.

Try opening a .CR2 file
