The Canon EOS 5D is able to use many different Canon lenses. This information is for help in changing, installing or removing Canon lenses.

Installing the lens

Installing the lens

Turn the lens clockwise and it will lock. Note: red dot is no longer centered.

 

Removing the lens

To remove the lens, you'll need to push the lens release button and twist the lens counterclockwise. Be careful to have a firm grip on the camera body and the lens. They are precision instruments that are easily damaged in a fall.

We attempt to keep either a lens or the body cap on the camera body at all times. This keeps dust and dirt to a minimum.
